Anonymous, cinematic,  experimental, and deeply immersive, the collective has quietly become one of the most intriguing  underground art projects in contemporary independent music . Described by some as “the world’s most mysterious band,” The Uprights are far more than a  traditional musical act. The collective consists of a writer, photographer, cartoonist, poet, and videographer, artists from different disciplines unified by a shared commitment to surrealism, emotional depth, and sonic experimentation.
